If the Spring Deal Days were anything to go by, then there could be a lot to look forward to in the Big Spring Sale, and I have already scouted out these 19 deals for those who just can't wait.

Yes, yes, yes, you can still buy a Garmin Edge 540, despite the Edge 550 now being widely available and on discount, and thank goodness you can, because it is brilliant. The Edge 540 is the perfect balance of features and usability and is just about all most people need in one of the best bike computers. It may be showing its age a little, but that is no reason not to consider it.
The tiny Cycplus AS2 may have just missed the top spot to its bigger sibling, the AS2 Pro, but there's no reason to feel disappointed. It still holds a fantastic 5-star rating and remains one of the best electric bike pumps we've tested.
The Favero Assioma Duo pedals are quite simply our top overall pick for the best power meters, largely because they are offered as a rechargeable unit rather than Garmin's coin cell battery. That is not all, they are also better value, and our testing showed they are more accurate and more durable, making them a bit of a no-brainer.
While the Osmo 360 and Osmo Nano are not really comparable, the latter was crowned our best bike action camera very recently. This was largely down to DJI's Mimo app and its very user-friendly design. Given that this is the same app that powers all DJI cameras and that, overall, the Osmo 360 is a more powerful camera, it might be the best action camera deal this spring.
It's time we all considered switching to stainless steel bottles. Now couldn't be a better time, with Spring and Summer on the horizon. It's better for taste and the environment, and it will keep your drink cooler.
Magicshine's RN range is extremely popular for its anti-glare lenses, and it now packs 1200 lumens and a massive 4000mAh battery. At under $60, it's not the best deal we have seen; however, it is a pretty good early deal.
Radar and smart lighting tech were among the big trends of 2025, and I expect that to continue in 2026. Yet the Garmin Varia RTL515 is a brilliant piece of cycling tech that has been around for years; however, it remains one of the best.
We've looked for a better option, but the SEEMEE 300 remains our pick for the best rear bike light.
Why? It's smart without overcomplicating things, it's simple and effective.
This is certainly not the first or the biggest discount we have seen on the latest Edge models; however, if you are looking for the latest bike computer tech, it is not insignificant. Tech Writer Aaron recently awarded the latest Edge 850 a very high 4.5 stars out of 5, waxing lyrical about the Edge's latest screen. Given that the models really aren't all that different, it's worth considering.
Just like the Edge 540 I have in my top picks, yes, you can still buy the Edge 840, but for how much longer? There is a reason the Edge 40 series bike computers have been doing the rounds for a time, and thats because they have been so good, and incredibly reliable. However, this could be the start of the end, given the discounts already seen on the Edge 550 above. Hurry while they are still around, as neither is 'out of date' by any means.
When Garmin launched the Edge 1050, the overall upgrades weren't significant enough for most to justify the upgrade. While former tech editor Simon was besotted with the 1050's new screen, he couldn't see any other reason to make the jump. In our eyes, the 1040 is still 'The' bike computer to have from Garmin.
Tech Writer Joe recently tested the Insta360 X4 and awarded it 4 out of 5 stars; he stated, "All in all, it’s a thoroughly impressive unit. It’s not perfect, but it has genuinely changed how much I use an action camera". Joe has been a big fan of their cameras since his time with the Insta360 Go 2. Given the power of the latest X5, you can be sure it'll be a good purchase.
It is actually rare that we have seen the Hero13 at its full RRP since its launch, so keep an eye on this one. While it's at its lowest price ever right now, it's clearly been a tough sell for GoPro, despite being one of our favourite and best bike cameras. The market is much more competitive now, with DJI and Insta360 as key players.
While we don't extensively test drones here at CW, we do utilise a large number of them for our content creation, and we become familiar with them. The DJI Mini 4 K is, without a doubt, one of the best beginner drones, and a preferred choice for many professionals despite its budget-friendly price.
Having recently added the GoPro MAX 2 to our best bike camera guide as the best compact action camera, it's a good time to see this with a decent $80 discount. Tech contributor Andy Turner was impressed by this little camera's performance, despite suffering from the same low-light issues as the Hero13.
The Cycplus R200 Smart Trainer boasts an impressive spec across the board. From its claimed +/- 1% accuracy to its 2,200 watts of resistance, it's on par with more expensive smart trainers. It has a small footprint and is self-powered, so it can be handy for pre-race warm-ups or for those low on space and lacking plug sockets and is Zwift compatible. Given that we are coming to the end of the indoor season, there aren't many deals on the best smart trainers right now.
Apple AirTags are a fantastic way to keep track of your bike's location. There are also several excellent products now available on the market that make fitting them to your bike much easier.
I was introduced to FlexBreeze by a friend last year during a particularly hot spell, when he had purchased one for his child's room. With limited outlets and the need to keep the fan out of reach, he spotted the Shark as an Ideal solution. This made me think it might be suitable for indoor training too, as it moves an impressive amount of air, is cordless, so you can place it anywhere, and is much quieter than the Wahoo Kickr Fan. Granted, it doesn't link with your trainer, etc, but do we need that? We don't want to melt, I think. It's now at its lowest price.
The Forerunner 55 is at the budget end of Garmin's smartwatch range, but that doesn't mean it doesn't impress. Simplicity is key with the 55, making it the perfect watch to start tracking your fitness. Much of the 55's power comes from the excellent Garmin ecosystem and apps, making it a great option for many.
The Wahoo Elemnt Ace is still relatively new technology. At its launch, many people, including my colleagues, commented on the size of the Elemnt Ace. However, given that many now use their phones on the handlebars, the Ace offers more cycling-specific features and is likely worth a third of a phone should it fall off or sustain damage in a crash.
Much like DJI and GoPro in the more traditional action camera market, DJI engages in a similar tit-for-tat specifications contest with Insta360 when it comes to 360-degree view cameras. Where the DJI is better, the Insta360 X5 is better in another area. However, for most, it'll likely come down to cost. Given that the Insta360 X5 is also on offer, it is a tough choice; the DJI does still edge it on price.
It wouldn't be an Amazon sale without me featuring my favourite coffee mugs. We cyclists all love a good cup of coffee or tea, and it only makes sense to enjoy it from a nice mug. This is one of the lowest prices I have ever seen on the 100ml Espresso 6-mug set.
I handle the large majority of our buying advice and deals content here at Cycling Weekly. What makes me qualified to tell you what to buy, though? Aside from being a cyclist myself for nearly 20 years, over 15 of which have been spent working in the bicycle industry. My knowledge goes much deeper than most. I am not just looking at prices; my background in purchasing, product management and bicycle mechanics means I know how much things cost, who makes them, and how they work. This gives me a unique perspective not just on what's a good product but also on if a deal stacks up.
Officially, not until the 25th March 2026, however, early deals are already live.
The Amazon Big Spring Sale 2026 runs from March 25th to 31st. This five-day sale event is for those who are based in the US. However, if there are any standout deals in other territories, specifically the UK, I will highlight them.
Our experts test hundreds, if not thousands, of products every year. During shopping events like spring deal days, we always try to feature products that our experts have either rated highly or, at the very least, put to the test. However, this isn't always the case. In these cases, we use our expertise, judgement and experience to determine what is a good deal worthy of our recommendation. You can find out more about how we select and test products here.
Shopping around is always recommended, whether or not there is an Amazon sale. Even more so, in recent years, we have seen a number of bicycle retailers aligning with Amazon sale periods in a bid to have a slice of the pie. Given that we look to always bring you the best deals, if these aren't on Amazon, then we will always feature them, either through a dedicated 'Forget Amazon' page or through a standalone deal page.
To shop on spring deal days, you do not need to be an Amazon Prime member. However, if you wish to benefit from free and next-day shipping, you can subscribe and pay either by paying monthly or yearly. Subscriptions start from £8.99/$14.99, or you can access Prime Day using the free 30-day trial subscription.
Don't forget, Prime access not only gets you free & next-day shipping but also lets you watch a whole host of cycling documentaries on Amazon Prime Video.
1. Shop using an Amazon Gift Card
Christmas wasn't all that long ago. Have a search around, as this is a great time of year to make the most of those gift cards.
2. Why not try other retailers?
In recent years, a number of bicycle retailers have sought to have a slice of the Amazon pie without being available on the retail giant's platform. This means it is worth shopping around and heading to your favourite retailer to see if they are matching prices or, in some cases, can be more competitive.
4. Check the price
If you are looking for the best cycling deals, there is a really useful tool I always use called camelcamelcamel, which tracks millions of Amazon products. What I find most useful is that it tells you the lowest price the item has been and if it was put up before the event. This way, you always know whether you are getting a good deal.
5. Read the reviews carefully
Amazon reviews can be an easy way to spot sellers bumping their ratings, although Amazon has clamped down on this it is not a fall-proof system. Here are our 5 ways to spot them:
• A very high percentage of five-star reviews,
• Lack of detail in reviews and vague praise,
• Generic review titles like “Nice product” or simply “Awesome”,
• Poor grammar and spelling mistakes
• Multiple reviews on specific dates (especially if there are long gaps between them)
Don't forget you can always check back to our site to see if we have a full review of the product, along with checking the brand's website. Finally, check the seller's other items listings and reviews for patterns.
6. There is nothing I want in the Spring Deals
Not to worry, Amazon will run Prime Days later in the year, along with their Black Friday & Cyber Monday events.
If that isn't regular enough for you, did you know Amazon runs deals EVERY DAY? You can find those here.
While this is nowhere near the 50% off deal I found on the RN1500s over Black Friday weekend, at 22% off, it is significant and takes it below the price of our best bike light, the Ravemen K1400. Given how closely matched the two were when Tech Editor Andy tested them last year, price really is the only difference.
